
According to officials, a Little Rock passenger died in a single-vehicle car accident outside of Stuttgart on US Hwy 79 on Sunday, Jan. 26.
The man, identified as 62-year-old Alfred L. Langhorn of Little Rock, was a passenger in a 2002 Ford driven by 56-year-old, Karen Griggs of Stuttgart.
According to the Arkansas State Police Preliminary Fatal Crash Report, the vehicle veered off the roadway, overturned and collided with a tree at 9:00 p.m.
Langhorn was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and a second passenger, 35-year-old Larenzo Hernadez, were injured.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions were reported wet.
