Pansy Irene Lock, 81, of Stuttgart passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2020, less than 24 hours following the death of the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, Charles Walter Lock Sr.
Pansy was born Sept. 27, 1939, in Mill Bayou, Ark., to Walter and Elenor Hensiek who preceded her in death. She retired as sales service manager at Riceland Foods.
Charles was born Dec. 18, 1935, in Des Arc to Walter Dewey and Mary Lynch Lock. Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver, parts manager and machinist. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay Lock and Jerry Lock.
They were faithful members of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Walker “Chuck” Lock Jr. and wife Marlo of Stuttgart and Todd Alan Lock and wife Laura of Greenbrier; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pansy is also survived by two brothers, Fred “Fritz” Hensiek (Alice Ann) of Humnoke and August “Gus” Hensiek (Barbara) of Stuttgart; and sister, Selma Hensiek Klunder of Indiana.
Charles is also survived by brothers, Billy Lock (Kay) of Athens, Texas, and Bobby Lock (Kim) of Humphrey; and sister, Mariann Goacher (Ralph) of Stuttgart.
They are also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Don White, are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 205 E. Fifth St., with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery. The service will be live-streamed at stjohnsstuttgartar.org .
There will be no visitation, but the memorial book will be available at Turpin Funeral Home for those wishing to pay their respects.

I miss you my friend. I keep looking out my kitchen window expecting to see you come out and water your plants. Rest in love with Charles. If you had to go, I’m glad you went together.
Oh, Chuck! I am so sorry to hear this. I loved both of them so much. I remember when I worked at Mack’s and Papa started calling me “Skeeter.” Where he got that name, I have no idea. He never called me anything else. Prayers for all of you ❤️🙏❤️
