
Carolyn Boley, 90, of Stuttgart, AR, and widow of Billy Franklin “Bill” Boley, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR.
Mrs. Boley was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Memphis, TN, to Edwin Ralph and Mary Catherine Garrett Crockett. She was a first-grade teacher for Clarendon Public Schools and then later Stuttgart Public Schools. Following retirement she volunteered at Stuttgart Agricultural Museum. She was an active member of First Baptist Church-Stuttgart.
Survivors are her children, Mary Ann Halpin of Mesquite, TX, Lynn Staten and husband Bob of Little Rock, AR, and Bill Boley and wife Shannon of Lowell, AR; brother, John Crockett and wife Sarah of Germantown, TN; seven grandchildren, Marc Halpin (Shari), Sara Maple (Cody), Luke Halpin (Tiffany), Brooke Bryan (Cory), Robert Staten (Hayley), Mary Kate Provost (Mason) and Matt Boley (Karlea); and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday with visitation at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart, AR.
Her family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Library or Operation Christmas Child.
