Dorothy Jean Powell, 79, of Stuttgart passed Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Springhill Baptist in North Little Rock.
Dorothy was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Stuttgart to Henry and Lottie Robnett Williams who preceded her in death. She was a Stuttgart High School graduate and worked for over 25 years as a paraprofessional for Stuttgart Public Schools. Dorothy also worked for 35 years at the Pam Pam Supper Club where she made lasting friendships with people from all over the United States. Dorothy had a knack for remembering everyone and their “favorite” food and drink and before many sat down their drink was in front of them.
Survivors are her daughter, Mitzi Powell of Stuttgart; a sister, Annette Grantham of Tichnor; and three nephews.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lone Tree Cemetery chapel by Turpin Funeral Home.
Her family requests memorials to Grand Prairie Job Center.
