Garrett Wilson was born February 16, 1956, to Bess and Ethel Mae Wilson. He was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas
He accepted Christ at an early age and was anointed by God to play music and to sing. His favorite spare time activity was playing his Keyboard and recording songs. He was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and shared his gift of music at several churches in the Little Rock area.
He was employed at Paul Morrell Men Formal Wear and worked several side jobs until his retirement . After retiring , he still continued to play his keyboard and watching sermons on his tv.
To cherish his memories he leaves behind two beautiful daughters: Sharonda Payton of Coco Beach, Florida; and Brittney Wilson of Jackson, Mississippi. Three sisters: Annette (Johnny) Ivory of Forrest City, AR, Vivian Wilson Toney of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Jeanette (Tony) Holt of Memphis, TN; Five brothers: Alford C. Wilson, Sr of Detroit , MI, Joe (Winnie) Wilson, Sr of Humphrey, Arkansas, David (Rashetta) Wilson of Bromall, PA; Dennis Wilson of Pine Bluff, AR, Kenny Wilson of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren, Chris, Rashod, Jayden, Jayla, Robin, and David and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
