Harold Julius “Buddy” Moritz Jr., 62, died Thursday.

Buddy was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Stuttgart to Harold Julius Moritz Sr. and Joyce Randolph Moritz. He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and was a satellite installer.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors are his wife, Dianne Shumard Moritz; son, Christopher Moritz of Charlotte; daughter, Erica Moritz of Stuttgart; step-sons, Scott Johnson of Centerton, Ark., and Shane Johnson of Mabelvale; his mother, Joyce Moritz of Stuttgart; two sisters, Malay Turner of England and Michelle Coats of Stuttgart; and six grandchildren, Austin Etter, Renee Johnson, Kailey Johnson, Maddox Johnson, Zachary Johnson and Declain Moritz.

Cremation arrangements are through Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
