
Jewel Brown affectionately known as “Tootie” by her family was born March 10, 1946 accompanied by her twin sister Jeraline Hall. Jewel and Jeraline are the third and fourth of nine children born to the union of David Warren and Carrie (Sims) Warren. On Saturday, May 2, 2020 Mrs. Jewel Brown departed this earthly tabernacle to her heavenly home. Her parents and one brother Ulysses Warren preceded her in death.
Jewel graduated from Immanuel High School in Almyra, Arkansas. Jewel accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. On her Christian journey, she joined the congregants of Allen Temple Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Gilbert Byrd.
After being a very loyal and dedicated employee at Baptist Health Hospital in Stuttgart, she retired exceeding 46 years of service.
Jewel leaves to cherish her memories three loving sons Johnnie Lee Brown, Ricky Brown and Donnie Ray (Lisa) Brown of Stuttgart, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Alisha Jackson, Marquita Dunn, Ebony Brown, Carriell Brown, Donnie Brown, Jr., Julia HIll, Dekyia Brown, Dontrell Brown and Donavan Brown; 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Ruth Thompson, Jeraline Hall, Clara Warren, Elnora(Isaac Jr.) Dunn and Pauline (Bobby) Edmondson; 2 brothers, Johnnie (Shirley) Warren and Lonnie Warren with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends that will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 from 5pm to 6pm at Paradise-Integrity Funeral Home, 206 W. Washington St., Stuttgart, AR Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 @ 10 a.m. located at Liberty Cemetery, 89 Hwy 33, Roe, AR 72134
