
Jimmy Reeves was born July 7, 1946 to the late Andrew Reeves and Irene Bradford Reeves in Crockett Bluff, Arkansas.
He attended Emmanuel High School in Almyra, Arkansas. Jimmy was baptized at the age 14 at Popular Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Jimmy moved to Stuttgart in 1964 and at the age of 18 enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1968 until 1973. His passions were carpentry, plumbing, mechanics and anything he was asked to fix or do. He loved talking and having fun whenever possible. Jimmy loved his family and friends.
Jimmy united into holy matrimony with Tilda Mae Smith in 1977.
Jimmy departed this life Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 5:20am at his home. His passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled.
He is preceded in death by; parents: Andrew Reeves and Irene Bradford Reeves. Brothers: Robert Sheard, Johnny Sheard, Henry Reeves and Willie Reeves. Sisters: Rena Mae Reeves and Winnie Reeves. Grandmothers: Lena Bradford Piggie, Cindy Lou Phillips and Arie Reeves. Grandfathers: Lonzo Bradford and Charlie Reeves. Son: Jimmy Lee Reeves.
He is survived by; Wife: Tilda Mae Reeves; 4 Daughters: Fleshia (Murl) Brown, Shakena Reeves, Katrena (Kelvin) Duerson and Marsha (Jefferey) Phillips. 1 Son: Rodney Lasley, 10 Grandchildren: Kameisha Thompson, Jerrick Thompson, Shakayla Myers, Brittney Myers, Tre’Davious Minter, Christen Reeves, Jalen Madden, Whitney Lasley, Kendell Lasley and Rodney Lasley, Jr. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Laniya Cutts, Braylontae Harvey and Devon London, Jr. 3 Sisters: Aretha (Lee Andrew) Williams, Guianna (Charles) Hall and Cindy (Jerry) Robinson. 5 Brothers: Arthur Reeves, Forrest Reeves, Elmer (Jennifer) Reeves, Sam (Linda) Reeves and Edward Reeves.. Special Uncle: Lester (Izola) Bradford, Special Aunt: Alberta Piggie Thompson, Very Special Friend: Al Paul and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends
