
A 48-year-old black Stuttgart man was wanted after he was seen stealing chicken from Cash Saver.
At 10:12 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, SPD Ptl. Nolan Woodell was dispatched to Cash Saver in response to a white male wearing a red jacket who had just stole chicken from the grocery store.
The male was spotted at the 2000 block of Main Street by the Tax Center with a black plastic bag. According to the SPD incident report, packages of meat were in the pocket of his pullover jacket.
Two packs of 99 cent Carolina Pride Brown Sugar Ham and Chopped Ham were retrieved from the suspect.
A Cash Saver employee identified the packages of meat and placed the suspect on a Criminal Trespassing for Cash Saver.
