

Monthly reports for the month of August were released from the City of Stuttgart Street Department, SWMS, Code Enforcement, Fire Department, Police Department, Court, Water and Sewer.
Chris Maxwell, Director of the Stuttgart Street Department, noted that they mowed numerous lots, ditches and roadsides. Numerous lots and ditches were sprayed, potholes were patched and four loads of rocks were hauled for the Water Department.
Several signs around town were replaced. They swept the Stuttgart High School parking lot, installed pipes for JB Bryant Park sidewalk project and made one trip to Forest City Salvage for the Water Department.
They had $100 in cash sales for dirt and gravel.
Gary Norris, Code Enforcement Officer, reported 5 building permits, 21 Electrical, 9 HVACR, 1 Plumbing and 3 ACT 474 totaling $2,146.75. He made 28 inspections and wrote 102 notices of violations.
Fire Chief, Jimmy Cason, reported the Stuttgart Fire Department for the month of August 2019 had:

Chief Mark Duke of the Stuttgart Police Department reported 168 incidents worked for the month of August and 32 accidents were reported.
The Stuttgart Patrol Division issued 175 citations with multiple charge descriptions within citations for the month of August.
The officers served 21 warrants.
New officers, Devin Flanagan and Colton Felts, joined the Patrol Division.
Animal Control issued two citations in August.
The Stuttgart District Court assessed $107,256 in fines and fees for Criminal, Traffic and Local Ordinance Cases and collected $37,463.09.
Court Costs were assessed at $33,075.00, which $18,892.11 was collected.
