Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) joins the growing list of colleges and universities honoring its graduates through a virtual commencement ceremony.
In making the announcement, PCCUA Chancellor Dr. Keith Pinchback said, especially now, with everything our students have been through due to the Covid-19 pandemic and devastating spring storms, it is important to acknowledge their achievements.

“Our students have just completed an overwhelmingly stressful spring semester with having to unexpectedly convert entirely to online learning and, then, have added stress due to damaging storms in our area,” said Dr. Pinchback. “I believe that each of our graduates has earned a celebration to acknowledge their hard work and success, even if they can’t experience it in person together with their friends and family.”
PCCUA-Stuttgart will host a virtual graduation ceremony on the date originally intended for its face-to-face graduation – Thursday, May 14.
