Riceland Foods held a Job Fair on Tuesday at the Training and Education Center in Stuttgart. They hoped to fill
at least two dozen open positions.
“The turnout today has been phenomenal,” said Scott Lindsay, Division Manager.
Richard Irvin said, “Come work for Riceland. It’s a great place to work.”
Lindsay and Irvin were grilling hot dogs during the Job Fair. The Job Fair will be held again on Thursday,
March 18, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
There are openings at Mill C, Parboil Mill, Packing, Section F, Parboil
Plant, Clean Rice Shipping, Production Blending Department and others.
Tammy Snelson, Human Resources Manager SRD, said, “We are trying to fill about 24 positions. We
have had an excellent turnout. We are very pleased.”
Bring proper forms of ID (one must be a photo ID), stay to complete paperwork, spot interviews may
occur and other tasks may be required.
