
Stuttgart officials had multiple streets and intersections blocked off after multiple accidents happened within approximately 20 minutes of one another.
According to the Stuttgart Fire Department incident report, an auto and motorcycle accident happened in front of Walmart on 406 E 22nd St.
Emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene at 2:02 p.m. Upon arrival, SFD made contact with the vehicle patient who was laying on the ground.
The patient was considered stabilized.
SFD also made contact with two motorcycle patients who were transported by Southern Paramedics Ambulance Service to the hospital.
Baptist Medflight was notified to meet Southern Paramedics at the hospital.
A second ambulance arrived on the scene to transport the patient of the vehicle to the hospital.
At 2:24 p.m. first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Park Avenue and 7th Street in response to a two-vehicle accident.
According to SFD, there was a sedan that had contact on the front with the side of a pickup truck on the backseat of the driver’s side.
Dispatch was contacted to get an estimated time of arrival for an ambulance and was advised it would be a prolonged wait time.
All patients decided to go with family members to the emergency room.
No further updates have been provided about the condition of those involved in either crash.
