Southeast Arkansas RSVP in association with the ICCM Food Bank located at 120 W 7th St., will be accepting donations starting today to provide the community with necessities that may be limited due to the recent Coronavirus community crisis.
Norma Strabala, director of the Southeast Arkansas RSVP said she and her team will begin providing delivery services to drop off bags to those who can’t get out. “The schools are taken care of our kids and we just want to make sure our elderly are taken care of also,” said Strabala.
Nonperishable food items, toiletries, and monetary donations are being asked for by the organization to make sure the food pantry is able to accommodate the needs of the community. Checks can be made out to ICCM Food Bank and dropped off at the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce.
The ICCM Food Bank hours of operation are Mon, Wed. and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Donations can be dropped off during that time or they can be dropped off at PCCUA-Stuttgart.
Delivery services will begin next week, Monday, March 23. According to Strabala, the outreach of donations is expected to continue as long as there is a need in the community.
The ICCM Food Bank is open to anyone in need. If you or a loved one needs delivery services, to make a donation, or to volunteer, contact Norma Strabala at 870-659-3809.
