
The 84th annual Word’s Championship Duck Calling Contest and the Wings Over the Prairie Festival kicks off Saturday, November 23 with the Queen Mallard and the Junior Queen Mallard Pageants at the Grand Prairie Center at 7:00 p.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 24, the Wings Over the Prairie Festival Open House will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Stuttgart’s unique downtown shopping district. Visitors will enjoy holiday shopping and will be treated to new businesses that have made Downtown Stuttgart home.
The festivities will continue Tuesday, November 26 at 6:00 p.m. as the young duck callers take the Stuttgart Stage on Main Street for the annual Youth Duck Calling Contest, presented by RNT Calls.
Visitors will notice the newest addition to the Main Street Stage, the World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest Legacy Brick Walk.
Located in the front of the stage, bricks of former Queen Mallards, calling contest winners, Duck Gumbo winners, Great Duck Race winners, lifelong sportsmen, or just lovers of the Grand Prairie, will be placed in their honor.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Thursday, Nov 28 the Carnival and Midway will light up Main Street. The Carnival and Midway will open at 3 p.m.

Armbands will be available from 4 to 8 p.m. on both days for unlimited access to carnival rides.
The armbands are available for purchase in advance for $18 at the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce located at 507 S. Main, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Friday, November 29 at 8 a.m. registration opens for all the festival contests.
At 10 a.m. on Friday, the 4th Annual 5 Stand Sporting Clay Competition, sponsored by Express Employment Professionals, will be held at Mack’s Prairie Wings. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m.
Each shooter will have 50 shots with their shotgun. Benelli shotguns will be provided for shooters if needed.
The Children’s Duck Calling Class at the Stuttgart Stage will begin at 10:00 a.m. for ages 4-8. Children will bring their own duck call.
The Arts & Crafts Fair, Sporting Collectibles Show, Commercial and Outdoor Exhibits will open at 10 a.m. Each plays a big part in the festival, housed between the Main Street Stage and the carnival.
Over 100 booths will satisfy your shopping needs.
High school seniors will take the stage at the Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest at 11 a.m.
The Carnival and Midway will open at noon.
The Arkansas State Qualifying Duck Calling Contest starts at noon on the Main Street Stage and is open to all residents of Arkansas. At 2 p.m. the Intermediate World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest begins and at 3:30 p.m. the Last Chance Regional Duck Calling Contest begins.
On Saturday, November 30 at 8 a.m. the Great 5k/10k Duck Race/Family Fun Run will begin at 7th and Main Street. This race draws hundreds from across the world.
Registration for the World’s Contest, Women’s World and Junior World’s will open at 8 a.m.
At 9 a.m. the Arts & Crafts Fair, Sporting Collectibles Show, Commercial and Outdoor Exhibits will open.
At 9 a.m. the Butch Richenback Memorial Junior World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest will begin and at 10 a.m. the Women’s World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest at the Main Street Stage.
The 3rd Annual Baggo Tournament will begin at 12:00 noon at the Main Street Pavilion. Registration for the Baggo Tournament opens at 11 a.m. A maximum of 64 teams of two can sign up.

The World Championship Duck Gumbo Cook-Off, sponsored by Bud Light and Ludwig Distributing Company, will begin at 11 a.m. at the Producers Rice Mill parking lot on Park Avenue.
Mother Hubbard And The Regulators will perform high energy, modern edge, country and rock music while gumbo contestants compete for bragging rights to the “World’s Best Duck Gumbo.”
At 11:30 a.m. the Carnival and Midway will open. Armbands will be available from 2 p.m.-7 p.m.
The 84th Annual World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest will begin at 2 p.m. at the Main Street Stage.
2018 winner and 3-time World Champion, Logan Hancock, will rest his duck call this year and join the panel of judges.

Mack’s Prairie Wings, Winchester Ammunition, Purina, Benelli and Lennox are the sponsors of the contest.
