Virginia Claire Walton, 90, of Stuttgart passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Daingerfield, Texas.

Gin was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Memphis to William Eugene and Mary Hays Dolan. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and RSVP.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom H. Walton Sr.; and two sisters, Mary Jean Dolan and Jo Lynn Schwantz.

Survivors are one son, Tommy Walton Jr. of Stuttgart; two daughters, Mary Ellen (Dennis) Seymore of Daingerfield and Lynn Walton of Stuttgart; three granddaughters, Lauren (Eric) Scherm of Stuttgart, Khristin (Ryan) Norsworthy of Daingerfield and Lindsey Walton of Stuttgart; great-grandchildren, Merritt, Winn and Beau Scherm, MyKayla Hale and Shelby Sexton; sister, Annette (Jack) Busby of Little Rock; a host of nieces and nephews; and her loving pet Ginger.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home with rosary following at 7 p.m.

Her family requests memorials to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stuttgart or United Methodist Church in Daingerfield, Texas.
